Our work within this sector has rewarded us with much praise.
Recent projects have included the excavation and subsequent conversion of a large church crypt beneath St Luke’s Church, Hampstead to create the first Church of England Free School for primary aged children in the UK, and the creation of new teaching spaces in the roof space of the Grade II listed St Barnabus’ Church School in Pimlico.
Emerson Willis Ltd has undertaken extensive refurbishment of the interior of St Luke’s Church, Hampstead including alteration and relocation of the carved oak screens, relocation of the font, creation of a new community space including catering facilities at the rear of the church and redecoration throughout.
We are currently converting a Grade II listed church building into a four-bedroom house featuring a minstrel’s gallery and including the renovation of the original clock and bell tower.
Emerson Willis can provide cost effective, quality solutions that are tailor-made to sympathetically update existing traditional buildings for modern uses.
We can offer a team of craftspeople with a wealth of experience in using traditional techniques and materials as well as advice on modern alternatives.
