Queens Gate, London SW7 5JT Residential & Leisure
The Project comprised of the extensive remodelling and refurbishment of seven apartments within a Grade II listed townhouse inclusive of the formation of a fifth floor extension.
The finishes throughout were to the highest specification and were manufactured and installed to resemble the historic profile of the property. All bespoke plastered cornices and skirting were installed to the original part of the building and in order to keep in line with the buildings heritage, the existing masonry walls consisted of lime plaster and a specialist lime finish coat prior to breathable Paint Library paint finishes being applied throughout by our in house Decorating team. Detailed joinery was installed as part of our works, which is inclusive of new windows to replicate the original, a solid oak staircase to the penthouse, new bespoke kitchens, wardrobes and vanity units to each apartment. We also installed new oak flooring to bedrooms, kitchens, lounges and hallways and marble tiling was installed to all bathrooms and en suites.
All new Mechanical and Electrical installations were installed throughout as part of the CDP element of our Contract. The external works were inclusive of a full refurbishment and redecoration to the front elevation along with extensive alterations to the side and rear facades to suit the reconfigured internal layouts. We also formed three private garden areas, two of which are connected to the two basement apartments and the other to the apartment on the third floor accessible via the bespoke conservatory. Mineral render finishes were installed to the external walls within these areas along with composite decking forming the surface finish and the separating walls.
