Emerson Willis Ltd was engaged to construct substantial extensions to Fairfields, a home occupying a prominent site on the private Hutton Mount Estate near Brentwood.

To the right hand side of the property a double garage extension also added utility areas behind the garaging at ground level and on the first floor added two double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom.

An additional entrance and stairway were also added within this new area.

A second extension to the left of the original house enabled the small lounge to be increased in size to become a grand drawing room in keeping with the new overall size of the property. On the first floor a further two double en-suite bedrooms were added bringing the total bedrooms in the property to five.

Further internal re-modelling provided a large family kitchen / diner with a central feature fireplace and the formation of a large entrance hall / lobby.

The whole house was reroofed and all soffits and fascias replaced giving a smart uniform finish across the whole property.

The extensive external landscaping saw the construction of a family swimming pool, a large patio for entertaining and a new landscaped driveway to frame the house when approached from Hutton Mount.
